Carbon dioxide (CO2)
One of the biggest causes of air pollution is the release of carbon dioxide. This chemical is released into the air when things combust. So we’re talking about burning things and engines. Whenever you use an engine, say you’re mowing the lawn or traveling by car or airplane, you’re contributing to the release of CO2.
The easiest and the most powerful solution is to cut back on the amount of time you travel. Of course, you do have to run errands and get to work. However, try to combine outings when possible and use public transportation whenever possible.
